Hey Guys,
I’m just back from my short trip to Malibu, CA, for the Nautica Malibu Triathlon as part of the KSwiss women’s relay team. I had an amazing experience! It was so much bigger than the one in Miami because it’s the 22nd year that this triathlon has been held and it’s quite a tradition! There was an incredible turnout, over 4,000 participants raised nearly $1 million dollars for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. I was so proud to be on the KSwiss team with Katya Meyers and Kaitlin Sandeno: we came in first in the women’s relay and I had the fastest time for the women’s run at 27:54.0! The cutest part, though, was the “Tot Trot.” There were 3 age groups and I “ran” with all of them, I loved being a part of it and it gave me such a great feeling to be hanging out with the kids. We’ve added something new to the site for this journal entry: a video blog from my personal camera! Check it out, I’m really excited about making this a regular part of my journals from now on. Stay tuned, as I have a lot of trips coming up in the next two months and will be super busy. Of course, I’ll keep you updated! And, as always, I’ve included some behind the scenes pics for you!
